This soap started with my own family — testing formulas until they were gentle enough for my kids' sensitive skin and effective enough for the dry patches and breakouts the rest of us deal with. Two years and countless batches later, it's the only soap we use at home, and it hasn't stayed just ours for long.

For years, the only thing I put on my skin came from a small local shop called Hawthorne Skin. When they stopped selling, I couldn't find anything that came close — so, already loving skincare, I decided to make my own.
I spent months stuck on the perfect formula, how I wanted it to look, and who it was even for — until I finally just went for it. The first batch sold out almost immediately, and it hasn't slowed down since.
Every bar is still made in a corner of my kitchen, squeezed in between work and full-time mom life. My kids are part of it too — my daughter has even created her own soaps, with me guiding her on safety. All of my children know their way around a soap batch, and why natural ingredients matter, inside and out.
